Cookie Policy

Last updated 21 September 2026

Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how LEC AI Limited, part of LEC Group ("LEC AI", "we", "us" or "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on lecai.ai (the "Site"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Website Terms of Use.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and provide information to site owners. Similar technologies, such as pixels, tags and local storage, may be used for the same purposes and are covered by this policy.

What the Site actually uses today

The Site does not set any strictly necessary, functionality, or marketing/advertising cookies. It uses two third-party services, described below, and neither sets a tracking cookie on your device:

  • Analytics — Plausible. We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate traffic to the Site, such as which pages are visited. Plausible is cookieless: it does not use cookies or any persistent identifier, and does not collect personal data or track you across other websites.
  • Contact form — FormSubmit. When you submit our contact form, the message is sent via FormSubmit, a form-relay service, directly to our inbox. This is a one-off request when you submit the form and does not set a cookie on your device.

Because no non-essential or tracking cookies are currently set, the Site does not show a cookie consent banner. If that changes, for example if we add a tool that does use cookies, we will update this page and add a consent banner before that tool goes live.

Categories of cookies, for reference

If the Site's cookie use changes in future, it may fall into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to function, for example security, load balancing and remembering your cookie preferences. These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics/performance cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Site, for example pages visited and time spent, so we can improve it.
  • Functionality cookies — remember choices you make, such as language or region, to provide a more personalised experience.
  • Marketing/advertising cookies — may be used to track visitors across websites and measure the effectiveness of our marketing, where applicable.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies on the Site could in future be set by third-party services we use, such as analytics or contact-form providers. Where that is the case, those third parties may use cookies to collect information about your use of the Site and other websites, in accordance with their own privacy and cookie policies.

How to manage or disable cookies

Most web browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting them. Restricting cookies may affect the functionality of the Site. Where a cookie banner or preference centre is provided on the Site, you can also manage your choices there. For guidance on managing cookies in common browsers, see your browser's help documentation.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies and technologies we use, or for legal or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
